In my formative years I studied at Pasadena City College and the University of La Verne.  In addition to my studies I spent some time in a small corner of the world at the pleasure of my Uncle Sam.  This remote South Eastern Country of Viet Nam was undergoing some difficulties with North Viet Nam and needless to say it was a pleasure to return home.

Twenty-eight years were spent as a firefighter working at many tasks and earning promotions in the ranks.  Upon retirement I ended my career in the rank of Fire Chief.  Without a doubt this was a very rewarding career and one I will cherish to the end of time.

During these years a family was developed which has grown to provide me with three lovely children and at this date two grandchildren.

My interest in Photography started at an early age and continues to grow to this day.  Most of my skills are self taught although much has been learned in studies and observation.  I hope through these pages to be able to share my passion with you.
